As a Busser/Runner, your primary responsibility is to support the front-of-house team by maintaining cleanliness, organization, and efficiency. You will greet customers with a smile, prepare your station for service, and ensure tables are properly set with utensils and condiments. Your role involves refilling beverages, clearing used dishes and glassware, delivering hot food to guests once their orders are ready, and assisting servers as needed. Maintaining adherence to safety and sanitation standards is critical, as is keeping the dining area clean by clearing tables, resetting them, and cleaning seats and floors. Effective communication about table availability and diligent sorting of items in the dishwashing area are part of your duties as well. Physical endurance and teamwork are crucial for success in this position. You must be able to bend, reach, squat, and lift up to 30 pounds safely, stand for extended periods (8 to 12 hours) during shifts, and manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.
