As a Service Assistant, or Busser, at On The Border, you play a vital role in supporting the restaurant’s frontline staff and ensuring guests receive exceptional service from the moment they walk through the door. The Service Assistant is responsible for delivering the iconic OTB chips and salsa to guests as they are seated, refilling nonalcoholic beverages, and ensuring a consistently clean and welcoming restaurant environment. Maintaining cleanliness extends beyond the floor to include emptying trash, keeping restrooms tidy, and assisting with service areas. Additionally, the Service Assistant helps with clearing, cleaning, and resetting tables to prepare for the next guest, as well as completing assigned prep work to support operational readiness throughout shifts.
