For the 2026 cruising season, American Cruise Lines is hiring Servers to join their shipboard hotel and restaurant teams. This is a temporary but rewarding position lasting 28 weeks, where successful candidates will work onboard one of the company’s finest American ships. As a Server, you will play a vital role in providing guests with an elegant and memorable dining experience that reflects the company’s dedication to outstanding hospitality. The position requires performing a wide range of duties, from setting tables and arranging linens, silverware, china, and glassware, to efficiently catering to all culinary requests and ensuring that guests receive prompt, courteous service. You will also have the responsibility of greeting guests by name, escorting them to their tables, presenting menus, suggesting courses and wines, and answering questions regarding menu items with confidence and professionalism. Adherence to grooming standards, including limitations on visible tattoos and piercings, is required to maintain the company’s professional appearance. A pre-employment drug test is mandatory under federal law and Department of Transportation regulations. The consumption of alcohol while on duty is strictly prohibited to ensure the safety and quality of service to guests.
