We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Sales professional to join our team and assist the Director of Sales in meeting business travel revenue goals. This full-time role offers an annual salary range of $80,000 to $90,000 and focuses primarily on soliciting national accounts to enhance the hotel’s transient business revenue. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business travel sales within a similar hotel environment and possess strong skills in prospecting, sales presentations, contract development, negotiation, and closing deals. The Sales Assistant will be instrumental in maximizing revenue by promoting all facets of the hotel to existing and potential clients. Key responsibilities include conducting telephone prospecting, attending sales calls, performing site inspections, and delivering compelling written communications to secure new accounts and retain current business. As part of the role, effective communication across departments is critical to ensure seamless service delivery and a superior customer experience. The successful candidate will participate actively in daily business reviews, pre-convention meetings, training sessions, trade shows, and community events to network and promote the hotel’s offerings.

- 3+ years of past sales experience
- Hotel experience preferred
- Experience in business travel at a similar size and quality hotel
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Delphi
- Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors, coworkers, and the public
- Availability to work on a regular basis
- Compliance with attendance rules
