The Porter role at Gerber Collision & Glass is a vital support position that complements the company's quality repair services. The Porter is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of both customer vehicles and the shop and office facilities. This position plays a key part in ensuring that vehicles are delivered in pristine condition, enhancing customer satisfaction and reinforcing the company’s WOW Operating Way. Primary responsibilities include supervising the daily housekeeping within the office and production areas, managing waste and tools, and maintaining parking lots and grounds. The Porter also assists with vehicle transportation to sublet locations and pre- and post-wash duties to prepare vehicles for repairs and delivery. This position requires attention to detail, multitasking abilities, and a strong commitment to safety and customer service. Gerber offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $15 to $18 or more, depending on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package aimed at supporting employee success and well-being.
