We are currently seeking a dedicated Business Development Manager (Sales Representative) to join our accomplished team of professional sales representatives. This role centers on selling corporate events and team building programs directly to Chicago’s top companies, helping clients create what we proudly call their "Best Day of the Year." Unlike selling products, this position offers the opportunity to develop meaningful business relationships while contributing to the success and morale of client organizations through thoughtfully designed events. As a Business Development Manager, you will thrive in a full-time, in-person capacity working five days a week from our bustling office. This role demands a proactive, hunter mentality towards growing and enhancing an existing database of potential clients, predominantly through outbound phone and email communications. You will benefit from working with a proven sales process, a warm call environment with existing prospect lists, and continuous training and development opportunities — making it an ideal position for motivated sales professionals aiming for substantial earning potential and career growth.
The compensation package includes a base salary plus commissions, with first-year on-target earnings expected to range between $50,000 and $70,000. There is significant potential for higher income with consistent sales performance, making this an excellent opportunity for motivated and results-driven salespeople. - 2+ years successful business to business sales experience
- Enjoys being a hunter to build and enhance an existing database of potential clients
- Ability to present ideas, expectations, and information in a concise, well organized manner
