This particular role is designed for an Airport Ramp Agent, a vital position responsible for the safe and efficient handling of various ground operations that directly affect the customer's journey. As a Ramp Agent, you will be entrusted with numerous responsibilities including the loading and unloading of customer aircraft, ensuring all baggage, airfreight, and mail are handled carefully and safeguarded from damage or theft. Your duties will also include guiding aircraft on the ramp, operating equipment such as pushback tugs and belt loaders, and maintaining constant communication with Wing Walkers to ensure safety on the ramp.
The position requires someone who is physically able to perform demanding tasks such as lifting heavy weights regularly, climbing, bending, stooping, and working in various weather conditions. This hands-on job demands close attention to detail and adherence to security protocols, including completion of ramp and Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) training to obtain necessary airport authority security clearance. Being a local resident with a valid in-state driver's license is mandatory, along with passing a background check and drug screening, reflecting the high-security standards of the airline industry.

- Must be a local (in-state) resident
- Valid in-state driver’s license
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Ability to pass up to a 10-year background check
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986
- Must complete ramp and SIDA training to obtain airport authority identification security
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, pull and move items of 70 pounds and/or more regularly
- Must be able to walk, climb, bend, kneel, crawl, and stoop frequently and for extended periods
- Must be able to work in cramped or high places
- Must be able to carry heavy items up and down jet way stairs
- High school diploma or GED
