The Beverage Bar Back role at Seneca Gaming Corporation serves as a critical support position within the beverage and bar services department. Successful candidates will be responsible for the timely delivery of requisitioned bar supplies such as CO2 canisters, liquor, wine, beer, fruit, glasses, matches, ashtrays, and ice. The role demands considerable physical effort, including pushing, pulling, lifting, bending, walking, and reaching, often utilizing various types of carts and containers to transport supplies throughout the casino. In addition to logistical support, the Beverage Bar Back ensures that all beverage stations are ready for service by arranging supplies, preparing fruit, filling ice bins, washing glasses, and cleaning ashtrays and bar surfaces. The position requires effective communication skills and an ability to provide exceptional customer service in a courteous and professional manner. Employees in this role must also adhere strictly to the Seneca Gaming Corporation’s policies, Internal Control Standards, and information security guidelines. The role is active during various shifts, including swing and graveyard shifts, and may require occasional coverage as a Beverage Bartender when needed. Employees must comply with mandatory training requirements and participate in scheduled meetings to stay informed about updates and operational procedures. The job environment can be noisy and fast-paced, with a need to maintain stamina and composure under pressure. Candidates should be at least 18 years old, preferably with a high school diploma or equivalent, and have previous customer service experience. Experience operating bar equipment such as juice guns, soda guns, ice machines, mixers, and coffee machines is also preferred. This position offers a starting salary of $10.35 per hour, with compensation negotiable based on experience and education. • Must be 18 years of age or older upon employment
• High school diploma or its equivalency preferred
• Previous customer service experience preferred
• Ability to operate juice guns, cutting boards, soda guns, ice machines, mixers, pourers, knives, coffee machines, non-alcoholic frozen drink machines, ice tea machines and other necessary equipment
• Must possess excellent communication skills
• Ability to speak effectively to the public, employees and customers
• Must have the ability to deal effectively and interact well with customers and employees
• Must have the ability to resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner
