Ascent Hospitality is a distinguished hospitality management company recognized for its extensive portfolio of hotels and a promising pipeline of new properties and acquisitions. While the company has grown considerably in size, its core focus remains on people rather than numbers. Ascent Hospitality prides itself on cultivating a culture that fosters memorable experiences for both its team members and guests alike. The organization values teamwork and is constantly seeking individuals who collaborate effectively towards a unified purpose. Ascent Hospitality is a place where leadership means having a passion to serve others, excellent communication skills to understand the needs of guests and colleagues, and the ability to thrive in dynamic and challenging environments. This dedication to service excellence is reflected across all of its properties and teams, making it a sought-after employer in the hospitality industry. In line with this philosophy, Ascent Hospitality is currently seeking a uniquely qualified hospitality professional to join their team as a Bartender. This role calls for a bright and passionate mixologist who is always eager to explore new beverage trends and bring fresh ideas to the bar menu. As an essential member of the hospitality team, the Bartender is responsible for creating an inviting and lively ambiance behind the bar, setting the tone for a memorable guest experience. The role requires an individual who takes pride in offering guests a diverse, seasonally inspired beverage selection alongside warm and engaging conversations and helpful suggestions. In this position, bartenders work closely with other food and beverage staff to ensure timely and efficient service, maintain bar cleanliness and organization, and adhere strictly to all state, federal, and corporate regulations related to alcohol service. The bartender will also be tasked with preparing craft artisan cocktails, maintaining inventory, handling cash transactions accurately, and promoting signature drinks. Working flexible shifts including weekends and holidays is expected, and the ability to work as part of a team remains paramount. Throughout the workday, the bartender creates energy and excitement that encourages guests to relax and enjoy their stay, making the venue a standout destination. This opportunity comes with a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, life insurance, a 401k retirement plan with employer match, paid time off, uniform provision for most positions, and access to a team member hotel discount program. Candidates with hotel experience and a minimum of one year of bar experience, along with knowledge of spirits, wine, and the ability to craft specialty cocktails, will find this role highly rewarding. Ascent Hospitality champions professional growth and energetic leadership, making this an ideal position for those who thrive in fast-paced, service-driven environments and aspire to excel in their hospitality careers.
