The Culinary Lead (Hourly Kitchen Manager) role at CAVA is a critical position that blends leadership, culinary expertise, and operational management. The individual in this role is responsible for inspiring and leading grill and prep teams as well as Special Ops trainers, ensuring adherence to food quality and safety standards, and delivering exceptional meals consistently. As the Hourly Kitchen Manager, you will open or close the restaurant, support food and beverage management duties such as ordering and inventory, and develop leadership skills to effectively coach and grow your team.
This role demands a hands-on, hardworking individual who pays close attention to detail and is comfortable working in fast-paced environments. You will be expected to lead by example, fostering a team spirit that aligns with CAVA’s core values and business goals. The work environment involves standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working with kitchen equipment and food preparation tools safely and efficiently.
