This role is for a Bartender joining the team at one of Azul Hospitality's distinguished hotel outlets. The position requires delivering friendly, courteous, and efficient beverage and food service to guests while maintaining a clean and well-organized bar area. The bartender will be responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, taking orders, restocking inventory, and ensuring compliance with legal regulations regarding alcohol service. This diverse position includes assisting servers and other team members, operating cash registers, and participating in general cleaning and setup duties. The ideal candidate is someone with high-volume bar experience who possesses excellent communication, leadership, and customer service skills.
The position demands physical stamina, including the ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy items, and work in varying temperature environments from cold freezers to hot kitchens. Bartenders need to possess strong organizational skills, basic computer knowledge, and a solid understanding of spirits, wine, beer, and flavor profiles. Certification in Safe Server Alcohol and Food Handling as well as the California Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) certification are required. Additionally, the role requires adherence to Azul Hospitality's grooming standards and regular attendance to ensure smooth operation.

 - must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to four hours
 - must be able to lift up to 45 lbs
 - must be able to push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 250 lbs
 - must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language used in the workplace
 - must possess basic computational ability
 - must be detail oriented with outstanding organizational and communication skills
 - must have good communication skills both verbal and written
 - must be self-driven and able to work independently
