The Server plays a critical role in enhancing the overall member experience at Life Time’s cafes and bistros. This is an exciting full-time position mainly focused on delivering outstanding customer service by accurately taking and serving food and drink orders. The Server will interact directly with members at assigned stations—commonly on the pool deck or similar dining areas—offering expert knowledge of the menu, answering questions, and providing thoughtful recommendations tailored to each individual’s preferences. This role requires not only excellent communication skills but also the efficiency to handle orders swiftly and the attentiveness to maintain a clean and orderly dining environment. Servers will process payments, calculate bills, and ensure that tables and chairs are arranged neatly. The position demands physical stamina, as the individual will need to move about the cafe for extended periods and frequently lift items exceeding 20 pounds. • 1+ year of experience working in a restaurant with a fast casual or full service experience
• ServSafe certification required within the first 90 days of hire
• CPR/AED certification required within the first 30 days of hire
• Ability to routinely and repetitively bend to lift more than 20 lbs
• Ability to work in a stationery position and move about the Cafe for prolonged periods of time
