The Banquet Server will be responsible for setting up and cleaning banquet rooms according to the detailed plans provided by the Events Manager, ensuring that all tables are clothed and set in accordance with the club's standards. Beyond the setup, the server will attend pre-meal staff meetings, greet banquet guests cordially, and provide attentive, high-level service throughout the event. This includes taking beverage and food orders, serving cocktails and meals, and maintaining assigned tables with great attention to detail by replenishing water, butter, cocktails, and coffee as needed. The Banquet Server must also efficiently clear soiled dishes, glassware, and silverware while stacking them safely on bus trays and assisting with tray removal to the kitchen. Maintaining a continuous presence and attentiveness to guests from the start to the end of service is crucial, alongside promptly reporting any complaints to supervisors to ensure quick resolution. Post-event responsibilities include breaking down and cleaning all assigned work areas, resetting rooms for subsequent events under manager guidance, and properly cleaning and returning chafers and banquet equipment to their designated places. This position is essential for the smooth and flawless execution of all banquet events, requiring a professional demeanor, physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs, and certification through the RAMP program to handle responsible alcohol service. The Banquet Server will contribute directly to the club’s mission of providing top-tier hospitality services, playing a key role in the overall guest experience.
