Currently, the hotel is seeking a part-time Banquet Server to contribute to the success of its banquet functions. The Banquet Server is responsible for preparing and serving guests during banquet events, ensuring that all food and beverage services align with the hotel's standards for quality, presentation, sanitation, and hospitality. The Banquet Server will work closely with event coordinators, managers, and fellow staff to execute banquet event orders (BEO) accurately and efficiently. This includes understanding event details, setting tables with meticulous attention to presentation, and providing attentive service throughout the events. Responsibilities extend beyond serving food and drinks to maintaining a clean and organized service station, assisting with buffet setups and breakdowns, and supporting special functions such as coffee breaks and receptions. Knowledge of proper banquet service procedures and guest interaction etiquette is essential. Candidates in this role must be energetic, outgoing, and able to anticipate guests' needs while maintaining a professional demeanor. Excellent communication skills are necessary for responding to guest requests and working as part of a team. Additionally, Banquet Servers must uphold responsible alcohol service standards and be certified in TIPS, CARE, or equivalent programs, ensuring safe service during events involving alcoholic beverages. • High school diploma or GED preferred
• previous banquet server experience preferred
• ability to follow directions and get along well with others
• must be TIPS, CARE or equivalent certified or obtain certification by first day on the job
