In this position, you will be responsible for maintaining the continuity of service for all components of the airport passenger processing system. This includes troubleshooting and resolving a variety of technical issues, some of which may require specialist knowledge. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve performing regular routine and preventive maintenance on passenger processing equipment, responding promptly to customer incidents and service requests escalated through the Global Service Desk, and achieving resolutions within agreed service level agreements (SLAs). You will also manage airline host and connectivity issues and provide high-quality communication to keep colleagues and senior staff updated. The position encourages proactive engagement, including supporting and mentoring Airport Technicians on-site, identifying hardware needs, and conducting regular floor checks to prevent potential incidents. Ideal candidates for this role will have a minimum of one to two years’ experience supporting Microsoft Desktop software both onsite and remotely, familiarity with ticketing systems, and knowledge of network protocols, server hardware, and configurations. Prior experience in airport technical support is desirable but not mandatory. You must be comfortable working in the physically demanding airport environment, including lifting equipment weighing up to 50 pounds and standing or kneeling for extended periods while using mechanical tools.
