This luxury hotel is positioned at the crossroads of innovation and inspiration, allowing guests to experience the dynamic diversity of nearby neighborhoods, world-class dining options, and a wide range of attractions. As part of the Curio Collection by Hilton properties, Blossom Hotel is dedicated to delivering exceptional experiences within a sophisticated hospitality environment. We are currently seeking a talented and dedicated Banquet and Events Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in ensuring the flawless planning, coordination, and execution of all banquet functions, meetings, and special events hosted throughout the hotel. The Banquets and Events Manager is responsible for overseeing every detail of these events, guaranteeing premium service delivery and an outstanding guest experience. This pivotal position involves close collaboration with various departments including catering, culinary, sales, and overall hotel operations to create seamless, memorable events that align with the hotel's luxury standards. This role requires an individual who is meticulous in inspecting room setups, décor, audiovisual requirements, linens, and tableware, ensuring that every element meets or exceeds the brand's high standards. Timely coordination of service flow in partnership with culinary and catering teams is critical to the smooth operation of each event. Serving as the primary on-site contact for event clients, planners, and VIP guests, the manager plays a crucial role in managing relationships and addressing any concerns or special requests promptly. They will conduct final walkthroughs to confirm event readiness and ensure client satisfaction. Additionally, they are responsible for the seamless administrative supervision of events, including reviewing event orders, contracts, floor plans, and monitoring labor costs, inventory, and equipment usage. This position also involves ensuring accurate post-event billing, gratuities, and reporting, as well as supporting budget management and forecasting alongside leadership and finance teams. Hotel associates in this role benefit from a competitive pay structure, career development opportunities, and exclusive Hilton travel discounts that extend worldwide. The hotel also offers numerous employee benefits including hotel room discounts for associates and their families across Crescent managed properties in North America, comprehensive benefits plans for eligible employees and their families, paid time off, free meals, and complimentary parking. Ideal candidates will have 2 to 4 years of banquet or event management experience in a luxury or upscale hotel or venue, strong leadership and communication skills, excellent organizational ability, and proficiency in managing multiple complex events under pressure. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is required, along with the physical capacity to stand and walk for extended periods and handle tasks involving lifting up to 40 lbs. Joining the team at Blossom Hotel means becoming part of a vibrant hospitality culture that values professionalism, service excellence, and the relentless pursuit of creating extraordinary guest experiences.
