We are currently seeking passionate and skilled bakers to join our team. As a baker at SusieCakes, you will be responsible for preparing all our product offerings, including custom and specialty cakes made to guest specifications. You will maintain the high-quality standards that SusieCakes is known for in every item you create. Your role will involve execution of custom cake orders with intricate and creative decorating requests, ensuring each product reflects the care and craftsmanship that define our brand. Additionally, you will handle cleaning and storing of bakery equipment, either by hand or utilizing dishwashing machinery. Performing other culinary food preparation and related tasks as assigned will also be part of your duties. - Culinary degree preferred
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be able to speak read and write English for safety purposes
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays as needed
- Frequent walking kneeling bending and reaching overhead
- Able to stand for extended periods of time
- Must be able to lift move and carry up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to taste product for quality assurance ie buttercreams cakes and cupcakes batter cookie dough and other recipes as assigned
