The Bakery Team Member position at BJ's Wholesale Club is a vital role within the bakery department, responsible for proofing, baking, and preparing unfinished bakery goods to ensure quality and freshness for club members. This position involves following detailed product handling guidelines, using ovens and specialized equipment, and displaying products in proper amounts according to bakery production charts. Team members will also handle tasks such as unpacking frozen goods, decorating special order items, and packaging freshly baked goods including cookies, cakes, breads, and pastries. Beyond production duties, the role requires maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and product rotation to uphold food freshness and comply with company policies. BJ's Wholesale Club offers competitive compensation for this role, with a pay range of $16.75 to $20.10 per hour.
