Currently, JMT is seeking an experienced Aviation Project Manager for our Columbus, Ohio office. This full-time, regular position offers an opportunity to be part of a high-performing team overseeing aviation and related heavy civil transportation projects. The Aviation Project Manager will be responsible for delivering all project objectives, including scope, schedule, and budget management. You will take charge of project management plans, pricing and budget establishment, schedule creation, and quality control specific to aviation projects. Additionally, you will coordinate project scopes, manage subconsultants, and oversee technical resources and staff assignments. The role demands project leadership abilities to guide multidisciplinary teams, along with supporting business development efforts through coordination with Section Heads, Office Managers, and Practice Leaders. The successful candidate will also engage in client presentations, develop extra work order requests, and contribute to contract task proposals. This position requires a seasoned professional with at least 10 years of relevant experience, a Professional Engineer license, and a background in aviation or heavy civil transportation projects. Preferred qualifications include familiarity with FAA or DoD standards, proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, and experience with various project delivery methods such as Design-Bid-Build, Design-Build, and P3. The work environment is primarily office-based with occasional fieldwork that may involve exposure to outdoor conditions.
