The role we are highlighting is for a Customs Broker with extensive experience in handling complex import transactions. This position involves overseeing the classification and valuation of goods, ensuring compliance with U.S. Customs regulations, and maintaining excellent communication with clients. The Customs Broker will manage assigned accounts by reviewing documentation, monitoring shipment compliance, and advising supervisors on irregularities. Staying current with regulatory changes is a key part of this role, which requires continuous self-study and participation in relevant courses and seminars. The successful candidate will need to compile and prepare commercial regulatory documents, work collaboratively with colleagues across departments, and handle other assigned duties. - High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of 5 years work experience in brokerage
- Working knowledge of Customs brokerage
- Computer literacy including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Ability to stay current with U.S. Customs regulations and classification and valuation rules
- Strong communication and client service skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues from all departments
- Successful completion of PI assessment
- Must pass E-Verify Check
