The Food Services Assistant/Truck Driver is a vital team member responsible for carrying out a variety of entry-level kitchen duties under the direct supervision of the Food Service Manager or designated personnel. This position involves assisting in the preparation, serving, and storage of food items, supporting meal production that adheres to standardized recipes, portion control, and safety standards. Additionally, this role includes driving a 20ft box truck to deliver food to three remote locations, requiring a valid driver’s license and demonstrated driving competence.
This is a part-time, weekday position with work hours typically scheduled to coincide with meal preparation times, running up to 8-hour shifts starting as early as 5:30 am. The candidate will be involved in receiving vendor deliveries early in the morning, managing food service lines during meal service, and maintaining cleanliness within kitchen and dining areas.
