The role of Live Event Coordinator is fundamental in ensuring the flawless execution of live events. Reporting to the Production Manager, this position involves detailed planning and coordination among various event components essential to the touring and live show experience. Key responsibilities include managing the transportation logistics for crew members, coordinating procurement of necessary products and materials from local stores such as Home Depot, Target, and Guitar Center, and facilitating meal orders for crews through local restaurants. The role also entails arranging laundry services for the tour at approved vendors, overseeing cash reconciliation processes, and executing miscellaneous tasks as needed. This position demands a highly flexible individual capable of working extended hours, demonstrating excellent problem-solving skills, and maintaining a strong attention to detail. Ideal candidates for this role will possess a good driving record, be fully insured with an active driver's license, and be at least 21 years of age. While personal vehicle ownership is not required, it is strongly encouraged to meet operational needs effectively. Knowledge of local regions, including familiarity with restaurants and stores, is critical, as is the ability to work independently and with discretion. The working environment is often fast-paced, noisy, and requires physical stamina for prolonged standing, lifting, and other physical activities. The ability to wear a radio earpiece during shifts is also necessary. Candidates must be reliable with a positive attitude, ready to adapt and contribute in a dynamic setting.
