The Airport Services Representative II (Bilingual) position at the Houston Airport System is a full-time role based at George Bush Intercontinental Airport within the International Services Division. This position carries an hourly wage range of $21.64 to $24.64, reflecting the demanding and specialized skills required. The representative plays an essential role in supporting the Terminal Management team's commitment to providing a five-star experience for all passengers traveling through Houston’s airports. This position requires candidacy to be bilingual, with preference given to those fluent in Spanish, to better serve a diverse international passenger base. Responsibilities include assisting international and domestic passengers, coordinating with airlines and Customs Border Protection to expedite passenger flow through the Federal Inspection Services (FIS) area, and managing all common use facilities. The representative is expected to handle a range of duties from providing travel information and directions to facilitating VIP arrivals such as foreign dignitaries, government officials, and consuls.
The Airport Services Representative II works closely with supervisory staff to manage scheduling and monitor breaks, promoting operational efficiency and compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
