This role is for a General Manager position at Zaxbys, offering an attractive salary range of $64,000 to $74,000 annually, supplemented with a $3,000 sign-on bonus paid in three installments. The General Manager will receive extensive training at Zaxbys' facility in Atlanta, GA, which spans 8 to 10 weeks with flexible schedules to accommodate individual needs. Throughout this training period, accommodations, mileage reimbursement, and a food allowance are provided. The role offers a blend of leadership responsibilities and hands-on operational management, focusing on cultivating a positive team culture, driving sales growth, and maintaining impeccable service standards.
As a General Manager, your mission will be to lead by example and provide guidance to your team to ensure high morale and strong performance across all areas of the restaurant’s daily operations. Key responsibilities include managing staffing levels by sourcing, hiring, and retaining talented individuals while facilitating their ongoing development through mentoring and coaching programs. You will oversee scheduling to optimize labor costs and ensure service excellence, while vigorously upholding food safety certifications and company standards. Financial performance will be paramount, requiring you to drive sales and control costs effectively to maximize profitability, always aiming for continuous improvement.

- open availability and the ability to work a minimum of 5 days and 48 hours per week

- must possess leadership qualities, organizational skills, and ability to interact cooperatively with others
- required minimum education: high school diploma or equivalent and some college preferred
- 3-5 years management experience required
