The Warehouse Associate role, reporting directly to the Warehouse Lead for Shipping and Receiving, is a pivotal position within AFC Industries’ logistics and operational framework. This full-time role offers a competitive hourly wage ranging between $19.00 and $21.50, with work hours from 8 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday. The Warehouse Associate is responsible for a variety of essential tasks that support the efficient receipt, storage, and shipment of products. Duties include receiving and inspecting incoming supplier purchase orders, organizing and repacking materials for optimal storage, managing shipments using UPS WorldShip, accurately locating products within the inventory system, and preparing orders according to specific requirements. Moreover, the associate plays a critical role in building and positioning pallets for loading docks, wrapping orders to ensure safety during transport, and restocking inventory using manual and warehouse equipment. In addition to operational responsibilities, the Warehouse Associate is entrusted with maintaining equipment, adhering to health and safety standards, and ensuring records of completed orders and supplier documents are accurate and up-to-date. This role also involves safely completing supplier pickups and customer deliveries, contributing directly to customer satisfaction. Flexibility and a willingness to take on additional duties as necessary to meet customer needs are key attributes expected from candidates. • 3 to 5 years warehouse experience
