The Room Attendant role at Homewood Suites Chandler is an hourly position critical to maintaining the cleanliness and attractiveness of guestrooms. This position requires diligent attention to detail, as well as courteous and efficient service to all guests. The Room Attendant will be responsible for thorough cleaning of guest rooms following established standards, ensuring that guest satisfaction remains a top priority at all times. Primary duties include preparing the housekeeping cart with necessary supplies, removing trash and dirty linens from guestrooms and hallways, and keeping all hallways, public areas, and closets in neat, clean condition with frequent vacuuming. Restocking and replenishing cleaning supplies, including chemical bottles, is essential to maintain readiness for daily operations. The Room Attendant also supports operational upkeep by reporting any missing room items or maintenance repairs to the Housekeeping Supervisor or Manager promptly. In addition, handling items for the Lost and Found department in accordance with company standards is part of the responsibilities, ensuring that guest property is managed with care and professionalism. This role demands physical endurance including the ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and stand for the entire shift. Strong communication skills are necessary to interact effectively with guests and fellow employees in a friendly, attentive, and professional manner. • High School diploma or equivalent
• experience in a hotel or related field preferred
