The Tetra Pak Machine Operator position based in Nampa, Idaho for Bel is a crucial role on the B shift (Sunday through Tuesday and every other Wednesday, 7 pm to 7 am), which includes a $2 night shift premium. This position involves operating and maintaining high-speed mixing and cooking machinery within a fast-paced production environment. The operator will be responsible for setting up equipment, accurately moving and mixing raw materials, performing quality checks using specialized equipment such as probes and viscometers, and ensuring sanitary and efficient operation of machines. Precision and attention to detail are imperative as the role encompasses monitoring critical control points to prevent contamination and troubleshooting mechanical problems as they arise. The position requires strong mechanical aptitude, computer literacy for data entry and recipe execution via Production Integrator software, and the physical stamina to stand for long shifts and lift up to 40 pounds. Prior experience in manufacturing, particularly in food production, is preferred along with a high school diploma or equivalent.
