The Ramp/Warehouse Agent role at WFS is an essential position within the company’s ground operations team. This role includes responsibilities such as loading and unloading cargo including mail, express packages, baggage, freight, and company materials onto and off aircraft. The agent is tasked with transporting cargo between terminals and aircraft, managing ramp transfers of cargo, and handling export functions at express docks, mail, and baggage areas. Additionally, the role involves cleaning and servicing aircraft interiors, including cockpit and lavatories, and working at heights during tasks such as de-icing aircraft. The agent also operates vehicles ranging from light utility vehicles to those weighing up to 80,000 pounds in areas densely occupied by aircraft and airport equipment. The position requires a strong focus on safety while handling specialized tasks such as coordinating aircraft pushbacks and managing ground power connections. WFS offers this position on a part-time basis with varying shifts including early morning, evening, and weekend hours, providing flexibility for employees. The role demands physical stamina and the ability to work efficiently under different weather and environmental conditions, including exposure to jet engine fumes, vehicle emissions, noise, and dust.
