As part of a visionary leadership team at Elevation, the Director of Sales and Marketing (DOSM) will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the sales and marketing strategies to boost the hotel's brand, increase market share, and maximize revenue performance.
The DOSM at Elevation is a senior leadership position requiring not only a deep understanding of the luxury hospitality market but also the ability to inspire, lead, and collaborate across departments. Reporting to the General Manager and working closely with Revenue Management, this individual will develop innovative marketing campaigns that highlight the hotel’s distinct offerings including its culinary services, spa, museum, and overall guest experience. The ideal candidate will champion the hotel’s brand presence in the luxury leisure and corporate travel markets, utilize data-driven approaches to inform pricing and sales strategies, and ensure the achievement of both short-term financial targets and long-term growth goals.
Key responsibilities include leading and managing the Sales and Marketing Team, overseeing budgetary allocations, and collaborating effectively with third-party PR and digital marketing agencies. The DOSM will also represent Ithaka Hospitality Partners and the hotel at industry events, ensuring the brand’s legacy and mission are communicated strongly and authentically. The role requires a forward-thinking leader who excels in communication, strategic planning, and performance analysis, while maintaining a hands-on approach to monitoring market trends and adapting to a rapidly changing environment.
This is a full-time leadership role ideal for a professional with significant experience in both group and transient sales markets, a proven record in hotel marketing, and a passion for creating exceptional guest experiences. Candidates with a bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, business administration, or a related field, combined with extensive leadership experience, will find an exciting and rewarding opportunity to contribute meaningfully to Ithaka Hospitality Partners' ongoing success.
