The Beneva Group, a highly respected industrial manufacturer, is seeking to fill three vital EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) & Sustainability leadership roles based in New Jersey and Ohio. The first role is a senior leadership position responsible for overseeing full-site EHS strategy, managing teams, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. This position is crucial in driving the company’s safety culture, steering strategic initiatives, and managing interactions with regulatory bodies such as OSHA, EPA, and NJDOL. The leader will spearhead Serious Injury & Fatality Prevention programs and develop strategic roadmaps while overseeing the EHS budget. Candidates with extensive experience in complex manufacturing, certifications such as CSP, CIH, or CHMM, and familiarity with ISO 45001 and 14001 standards are highly sought after.
The second role based in New Jersey is a mid-level individual contributor position focused on environmental compliance and sustainability program execution. This role is ideal for someone who is an expert in managing air, water, and waste compliance programs, handling environmental permits and reporting, and driving sustainability metrics including Scope 1, 2, and 3 greenhouse gas emissions. The candidate will support ISO 14001 audits and help ensure the company meets its environmental obligations. This position requires a background with strong environmental compliance experience, preferably with knowledge of federal and state regulations and certifications such as CHMM.
The third role is an EHS and Sustainability Manager located in Ohio. This site-level leadership role demands a professional who can lead all EHS and sustainability efforts on the plant level, including regulatory compliance, site audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations. The successful candidate will work closely with operations to cultivate a proactive safety culture, ensuring robust safety systems and reporting processes are in place. Experience in EHS leadership at the site level over at least two years, with solid knowledge of OSHA, RCRA, TSCA regulations, and strong EHS performance management, is essential.

- Bachelor's degree in environmental science, engineering, safety management, or related field
