This particular opening is for a Warehouse Runner/Catering set-up team member position at Truist Arena, managed by ASM Global, a global leader in venue management and services. In this role, you will work closely with the main kitchen and concessions teams to prepare various areas for events, ensuring smooth and timely food service operations. The Warehouse Runner/Catering set-up team member's primary responsibility involves the coordination and management of inventory across multiple locations, including the proper stocking and rotation of supplies. This ensures that all event areas are well equipped with the necessary food and beverage materials to meet event demands. The position requires a detail-oriented approach to stock management, including maintaining clean and organized storerooms while adhering strictly to health and safety regulations.
The role is pivotal in the daily operations at Truist Arena, contributing to the overall guest experience by supporting the seamless distribution and transfer of supplies. Candidates for this position should be physically capable of handling the demands of the job, which include frequent standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds. A keen understanding of inventory control practices, such as First In, First Out (FIFO) rotation, is essential. Additionally, effective communication skills, especially via radio, are necessary for coordinating with team members and ensuring operational efficiency.
