We are currently seeking a self-directed Warehouse Lead / Unloader to join our team. This is a critical role where the ideal candidate will lead the daily unloading operations of trucks in a warehouse environment. The position requires a proactive individual capable of planning, directing, and overseeing warehouse unloading procedures with a strong emphasis on customer service and operational efficiency. The Warehouse Lead will be responsible for scheduling personnel based on client needs, ensuring the safety and efficiency of daily operations, and maintaining effective communication with customers. This role also demands excellent interpersonal and leadership skills to manage human resources-related activities, including recruiting, training, coaching, and resolving conflicts. In addition to these responsibilities, the Warehouse Lead will handle important administrative tasks such as creating daily work logs, auditing labor and billing reports, managing deposits and cash handling, and generating various operational reports to be distributed to corporate management. Candidates with prior experience in food or grocery warehouse operations will find this role particularly well-suited to their expertise. The position offers a starting wage of $20 per hour and requires a minimum of two years of warehouse experience, strong knowledge of warehouse operations, and competency in computer applications like Microsoft Excel. This role demands the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, with excellent problem-solving and multitasking abilities, all while functioning comfortably in a physically demanding and fast-paced environment. Physical demands include the ability to stand, bend, stoop, lift moderate weights, and endure various environmental conditions such as extreme temperatures and loud noises.
