Metz Culinary Management is currently seeking an experienced Food Service Director/General Manager for a critical role based at Erie County Medical Center in Niagara Falls, New York, with relocation assistance available for candidates willing to move to the Buffalo/Niagara NY commute area. This full-time position comes with a competitive salary range between $115,000 and $125,000. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing food service operations in large, multi-outlet facilities such as universities, hospitals, or other similar environments that include retail outlets, food courts, concessions, cafes, and catering operations.
As a Food Service Director/General Manager, the individual will take overall responsibility for food service operations within a busy hospital dining services setting. This position demands a polished and professional leader with a winning attitude who can seamlessly manage all facets of food service, including implementing company cycle menus and recipes, overseeing purchasing and scheduling, managing employee personnel programs, handling bookkeeping, and maintaining strong customer and client relations. A thorough knowledge of menu execution with a focus on stunning presentation, catering management, and retail sales is essential.
