The Assistant Food & Beverage Manager at Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe plays a pivotal leadership role within the resort’s food and beverage operations. This position focuses on delivering elevated service across multiple dining outlets, lounges, and event spaces. The Assistant Manager supports the Food & Beverage leadership team by overseeing daily operations to ensure seamless service, maintaining Hyatt brand standards, and driving operational excellence. They are instrumental in optimizing staffing schedules, managing payroll and labor costs, and ensuring the cleanliness and readiness of all food and beverage areas. The role also includes inventory management and assisting with supply orders.
Beyond operational responsibilities, the Assistant Food & Beverage Manager leads, coaches, and inspires a diverse team of service professionals. They assist in recruiting, onboarding, and training new staff members while fostering a positive workplace culture characterized by accountability, teamwork, and high morale. - High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in food and beverage operations preferably in a resort or upscale hotel setting
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings weekends and holidays
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and push pull up to 75 lbs occasionally
- Frequent use of hands and arms for grasping reaching and handling equipment
