This job opportunity is for a General Manager I (GM I) position at the Starbucks location within Sacramento International Airport. The GM I oversees a Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) or a small group of restaurants with annual sales typically up to $5 million. As the leader responsible for overall operational and financial success, the GM ensures the restaurant remains clean, fully staffed, and open for business with exceptional service, adhering to company standards and policies. The role demands strong leadership skills to manage staffing, training, financial data analysis, inventory control, and compliance with safety and health regulations.
The General Manager I acts as the key point of accountability for the restaurant’s performance, including profit and loss responsibility. They must be adept at interpreting operational reports and making sound decisions to increase revenue, reduce waste, and maintain high standards for health and safety.
