While pizza experience is not a requirement, managing high-paced operational workflows efficiently is essential. The General Manager position offers comprehensive support including a 4-6 week paid training course held at Jet's Pizza Corporate Headquarters in Detroit, Michigan. This immersive training equips you with in-depth knowledge about company standards, operational best practices, leadership skills, and advanced technology usage to set you up for success. In this role, you will be managing a multifaceted team and overseeing all aspects of store operations. Your primary focus will be on ensuring exceptional service standards, maintaining low labor and food costs, and fostering a productive and positive work environment. This is a 40 to 50-hour per week position, depending on business needs and staff availability, with a competitive hourly wage ranging from $22 to $28 per hour. In addition to a base salary, General Managers in good standing who meet key performance indicators (KPIs) are eligible for discretionary profit share bonuses, creating an attractive performance-based earning potential. The position provides 40 hours of paid time off accrued per year, with an additional 8 hours of PTO accrued annually up to a maximum of 80 hours. Benefits also include company-provided health, vision, and dental insurance after six months of employment, ensuring your well-being is supported as part of your employment package. The ideal candidate will be proficient in various administrative and operational tasks including scheduling management, labor cost control targeting 25% weekly labor, and achieving timely deliveries with more than 80% on-time delivery rates and an average delivery time below 45 minutes. You will be the last line of defense against call-outs, ensuring shifts are adequately staffed, primarily coordinating via WhatsApp for staff communications, shift changes, and other essential communications. Additional responsibilities include food inventory management aiming to keep food costs at or below 30%, managing Pepsi product orders, conducting interviews and hiring through the TalentReef platform, entering payroll data, and onboarding new hires. You will enforce proper maintenance and cleaning of all equipment and the store, ensuring all health and safety standards are met. Proficiency with advanced POS systems, IT infrastructure and workflows, a deep understanding of ticket sources, and workforce management will be critical to your success.
