The position available is for a full-time Room Attendant, a critical role within the housekeeping department. This role focuses on cleaning and maintaining guest rooms to meet established standards ensuring a pleasant and comfortable stay for all guests. The Room Attendant is responsible for a variety of duties including greeting guests warmly upon interaction, cleaning guest rooms according to hotel standards within the allocated time, changing bed linens, restocking towels and amenities, polishing furniture, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the property. They also play a vital role in reporting maintenance needs to management and handling lost and found items in accordance with hotel policies. Safety is paramount in this position, requiring adherence to safety standards and the use of protective equipment. Flexibility is also important as the role may involve performing additional duties such as house person and lobby attendant tasks during peak periods or staffing shortages. The Room Attendant role is designed with clear growth opportunities, encouraging advancement from Housekeeping Supervisor to Assistant Executive Housekeeper and ultimately Executive Housekeeper, enabling career development within the hospitality field.
