This specific role involves maintaining the physical condition and aesthetic appeal of a stabilized garden-style property consisting of 328 units. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday and pays an hourly wage ranging from $16.00 to $17.50, with additional compensation opportunities based on individual and company performance. In this critical role, the employee is responsible for ensuring the community’s grounds, amenities, and common areas are always well-maintained, clean, and safe. This includes routine inspection, litter removal, and upkeep tasks to enhance curb appeal and create a welcoming environment for residents and visitors. The role also supports the service team by completing minor service requests and assisting in apartment turnover processes. The role demands collaboration with supervisors and adherence to Greystar’s safety and risk management policies, including attendance at safety meetings, OSHA training, and prompt reporting of any safety incidents.
The maintenance technician must also focus on tenant relations by responding to resident questions and concerns with respect and professionalism, thereby fostering a positive community atmosphere. The position requires the ability to operate a golf cart on property (a valid driver’s license is required) and involves responsibilities such as lock changes and ensuring pool gate safety compliance. Overall, this position combines hands-on maintenance work with customer service, contributing directly to the community’s management and resident satisfaction.
