The Winter Food Service Associate role at Bogus Basin is pivotal to delivering excellent guest service throughout the winter season. This role involves a range of food and beverage functions designed to create a pleasant and seamless dining experience for guests. Working in fast-paced restaurant environments both indoors and outdoors, Winter Food Service Associates operate point-of-sale (POS) systems efficiently, prepare and cook menu items safely, and serve both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in compliance with all applicable laws and health codes. Interaction with guests is an essential aspect of the position, requiring associates to provide friendly customer service, offer menu recommendations, answer questions, and escalate any issues appropriately to supervisors or managers. The role demands multitasking abilities, manual dexterity, and stamina, as it includes handling cash transactions, maintaining stocking levels for food and beverage items, keeping workspaces clean, and fostering a team-oriented atmosphere through training and support. Employees must also promote guest safety by following safe work practices and reporting any unsafe conditions encountered during their shifts. This seasonal position requires availability from mid-October through mid-May, including weekends, ensuring consistent staffing during peak winter months.
