This full-time role reports directly to the Senior Maintenance Manager, Maintenance Manager, or Maintenance Supervisor, requiring a motivated individual who takes pride in maintaining cleanliness, safety, and overall aesthetics across the community's interior and exterior spaces. The Porter is instrumental in upholding the company’s high standards by ensuring that leasing offices, models, public and common areas are inviting and well-kept. Additionally, the role involves ground maintenance including sidewalks, walkways, stairways, building exteriors, and gardens, contributing significantly to a positive living environment for residents. The Porter also assists in making vacant apartment homes rent-ready quickly and efficiently, performing turnkey work and responding to service requests in alignment with company policies and safety standards. This requires the ability to compact and remove trash, manage debris, and work with residents to address and resolve complaints effectively while providing excellent customer service. The role demands adherence to federal, state, and local laws, including compliance with Fair Housing regulations, reinforcing the company’s dedication to ethical and legal property management. • High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in multi-family residential property maintenance or porter role preferred
• Valid driver’s license and automobile insurance
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic including measurement, addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
• Ability to use and handle cleaning chemicals and general maintenance tools
• Ability to operate motorized vehicles such as car, truck, van or golf cart
• Ability to frequently stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and climb
• Flexibility to work on a schedule based on business needs
• Must maintain professional appearance according to dress code
