The position available is for a Guest Room Attendant, a vital role in the housekeeping department responsible for ensuring that guest rooms and public spaces meet the hotel's high cleanliness and maintenance standards. This is an hourly position offering a pay rate of $19.00, with an additional $2.00 per hour shift differential for work on Saturdays and Sundays, highlighting the employer's recognition of weekend staffing needs. The Guest Room Attendant is expected to perform various duties including inspecting rooms, cleaning and stripping rooms, managing lost and found items, and monitoring security within guest areas. The role requires someone who is detail-oriented, highly organized, adaptable, and capable of maintaining open communication with other hotel staff.
In this role, individuals will be responsible for accurately using cleaning chemicals, reporting damage and maintenance needs promptly, and assisting other team members as needed, including cleaning hotel rooms.
