Scheduled to work weekends from 3 pm to 11 pm, this position offers a pay rate of $17.00 per hour and is based in Maplewood, NJ. The Concierge serves as the frontline representative, welcoming tenants, guests, and vendors, managing communications, and providing a broad range of personalized services that go beyond traditional front desk duties. This position demands a person with a genuine passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and a deep knowledge of local amenities and attractions. As a Concierge, you will develop and maintain strong relationships with building residents and visitors, ensuring that each interaction is pleasant and helpful. Duties include greeting and announcing visitors, organizing reservations and appointments for entertainment, dining, and travel, coordinating on-site events, and facilitating access to local services such as shopping, sporting events, and car service providers. The role also includes essential operational tasks such as documenting deliveries and vendor services, managing tenant mail, monitoring lobby security, and controlling keys and access cards. A valid driver’s license is required, highlighting the need for occasional errands or travel as part of service delivery. This position suits individuals with three or more years of customer service experience, who possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, basic computer knowledge, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is polite, friendly, confident, and able to lift up to 50 pounds when necessary.
