The role of Warehouse Associate at Maersk Warehousing and Distribution USA LLC is a dynamic and vital position based in Indianapolis, IN. This full-time role operates during the 2nd shift, Monday through Friday from 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM. Warehouse Associates are responsible for loading and unloading materials using various equipment such as hand trucks, reach trucks, and forklifts. Accuracy and safety are top priorities, as associates must maintain a clean and secure work environment, adhere to TSA and OSHA guidelines, and identify discrepancies between incoming shipments and manifests. Duties include pulling routes according to manifests, staging freight, assisting drivers, packing, scanning, counting products, and annotating overages, shortages, or damages. Associates must work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating high attention to detail and the ability to follow detailed instructions. Experience with RF scanning technology and forklift operation is preferred, and candidates must be capable of lifting over 50 pounds unassisted. This position offers competitive hourly pay ranging from $19 to $23 per hour and a comprehensive benefits package.
