Byron Park, one of Kisco Senior Living's premier communities, is currently seeking a part-time Server to join their hospitality team. This position plays a vital role in delivering exemplary customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere as food and beverages are served to residents and guests. The Server at Byron Park will work from Sunday to Tuesday, from 10:45 am to 7:15 pm, offering a great opportunity for individuals seeking part-time employment with competitive hourly pay ranging from $19.50 to $20. Additionally, successful candidates will receive a $500 hiring bonus. The Server role is centered around providing attentive and friendly dining service, ensuring residents have a pleasant, engaging, and seamless dining experience. Responsibilities include performing all dining service steps professionally and courteously, greeting and escorting residents to dining venues, and assisting with any special requests. The Server must also demonstrate thorough knowledge of daily menu offerings to effectively help residents make informed choices, maintain cleanliness and proper table settings throughout dining areas, and undertake additional duties as assigned to support smooth restaurant operations. This role requires warm interpersonal skills, a team-oriented mindset, and a genuine desire to enhance the quality of life for seniors living at Byron Park. Candidates interested in this role should bring a positive attitude and a smile each day, work collaboratively as part of a team, and preferably have some prior serving experience. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, and Food Handler's certification is mandatory to comply with health and safety standards.
