This opportunity is for a part-time Wait Staff position within Mayo Clinic’s fine dining and event services. The role is instrumental in providing exceptional service in a fine dining atmosphere for various events hosted by Mayo Clinic, including functions at the Mayo Foundation House. Employees in this role play a vital part in ensuring the highest level of guest satisfaction by meticulously preparing tables according to specific event requests, taking and delivering orders for beverages and multiple-course meals, and maintaining cleanliness during and after events. New hires can expect to work primarily evening shifts centered around dinner services, with the potential for occasional daytime hours based on event scheduling. The schedule requires availability for approximately two days per week with limited weekend assignments since most events occur Monday through Friday.
Compensation for this nonexempt role ranges from $20.00 to $25.09 per hour, with an additional $25 per hour stipend for certain events, reflecting the specialized skill level and excellence expected in service delivery.
