The General Manager (GM) position at Chuze Fitness is a vital leadership role responsible for overseeing the daily operations of their gym facilities. With an annual pay range of $74,200 to $85,800, this full-time role demands a dynamic individual ready to lead and inspire a team of 20-30 employees across various departments such as front desk operations, Kids Club, and Smoothie Bar where applicable. The GM acts as the core driver of excellence in customer service, cleanliness, and club culture. This role requires recruiting, training, and on-the-spot coaching of staff members to maintain a high standard of performance while also managing administrative tasks such as scheduling, reporting, and inventory management. In addition to people management and operational oversight, the GM collaborates closely with the District Leadership Team to meet club metrics related to labor management, sales enhancement, quality assurance, and facilities upkeep. The role is hands-on, involving participation in daily facility operations alongside team members and addressing member concerns promptly and effectively. The GM is also a bridge between human resources and the club, handling employee performance reviews, coaching documentation, and employee relations including termination processes when necessary.
