This particular role is a part-time position requiring availability primarily between the first and second shifts, including weekends and Monday through Thursday. As a Guest Service Ambassador within AHC Hospitality, the core responsibilities revolve around welcoming guests into the valet motor lobby or main lobby, assisting them with their luggage, and parking their vehicles promptly and safely. The ambassador ensures that all guest interactions are met with warmth and care, positively impacting the overall guest experience. Key duties include assisting guests with all valet and bellman services, driving and parking vehicles securely, maintaining cleanliness and order in the motor lobby and airlock areas, and monitoring the condition of valet equipment. Attention to detail is crucial as the ambassador is responsible for performing bell service requests, adhering to company policies, and contributing to a safe and welcoming environment. This position also requires participation in departmental meetings and ongoing adherence to AHC Hospitality’s guest service standards and operating procedures. This job requires the ability to work standing and walking for extended periods, a valid vehicle operator’s license, and ideally a TIPS certification to handle various responsibilities safely and effectively. Familiarity with property management systems (PMS) and advanced knowledge of the Grand Rapids area are advantageous.
