This is a full-time or part-time hourly position that offers a competitive pay range of $4.00 to $8.00 per hour. The role reports directly to the Shift Supervisor and/or Account Manager and is a key part of the valet department. The Valet Parking Attendant functions as the front-line representative of Hospitality Parking, providing courteous, efficient, and welcoming parking services to guests. The Valet Parking Attendant's primary responsibility involves the safe and timely parking and retrieval of guest vehicles, ensuring a seamless and pleasant experience for visitors during their arrival and departure. In addition to vehicle handling duties, the role demands exceptional interpersonal skills to foster a hospitable and friendly atmosphere for guests. This includes clear communication, patience, tact, and the ability to address and resolve guest concerns with professionalism to maintain 100% guest satisfaction. Further responsibilities extend to assisting guests with luggage, familiarizing them with hotel services as needed, and providing local information, directions, and maps. The role requires the ability to handle a broad range of vehicle types, including those with manual transmissions, and an understanding of emergency protocols to ensure guest and employee safety. The work environment is varied and requires adaptability to weather conditions and physical demands such as standing for extended periods and lifting luggage up to 75 pounds. The ideal candidate for this role should possess a valid Texas driver’s license with a clean driving record, a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent, and experience in customer service or hospitality.
