This full-time Parking Attendant position within Advocate Health offers a crucial role in supporting the medical center's operational efficiency and enhancing the patient and visitor experience at its Winston-Salem, North Carolina location. Scheduled as a floater with a base shift from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, the position’s hours may vary as needed, providing flexibility within the 40-hour workweek. With a competitive pay range of $18.50 to $27.75 per hour, the role comes with benefits eligibility from day one, including options for copay or HSA-eligible health insurance plans. In this role, the Parking Attendant will be responsible for greeting visitors warmly and maintaining safety and order in pedestrian and vehicular traffic spaces. The position requires proficiency in operating a manual transmission vehicle and maintaining a clean driving record with a valid North Carolina driver's license without restrictions. Key responsibilities include managing payments, securing cash and keys, completing relevant training, and occasionally driving golf carts as needed. This role demands excellent communication and interpersonal skills, professionalism, and the physical stamina to stand or walk for prolonged periods. There is a preference for candidates with mathematical skills and level I Qualified Spanish Bilingual Staff certification to better serve a diverse community.
