The Host/Hostess position is a dynamic and engaging role that requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. You will be responsible for greeting and seating guests promptly, managing waitlists, and coordinating call-ahead seating arrangements. Additionally, you will handle phone inquiries, direct to-go orders accurately, and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the host area, lobby, menus, and restrooms. This job demands physical stamina as it involves lifting weights between 25 to 50 pounds and maintaining fast-paced mobility for extended periods, sometimes up to eight hours. The role also requires continuous use of bilateral finger and wrist movements, with activities that include pushing, pulling, and stretching.
